A healthy diet also includes drinking enough fluids. It should be about 1.5 to two liters per day and should be more on hot days. Above all, choose low-calorie drinks such as water, unsweetened teas, or fruit juice spritzers. It is better to ignore high-calorie and high-sugar drinks or consume them sparingly. These include, for example, cola, lemonade, energy drinks, iced tea, or fruit nectars. You should also be moderate with alcohol.

If you have prostate problems, limit fluid intake at certain times. For example, don’t drink large amounts before you go to bed or when you’re traveling and won’t be able to use the bathroom for a while.
